On the afternoon of October 13, Lee Ki-jeong, president of Hanyang University in South Korea, visited the North Institute of Science and Technology。Academician Jiang LAN, President of Beijing Institute of Technology, met with Li Jijing and his delegation to exchange views on further deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two universities。The meeting was chaired by Wang Bencong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice president of the University。Yan Yan, assistant to the president and member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee attended the meeting。

Jiang LAN extended a warm welcome to Li Jijing and his delegation. He reviewed the achievements of the exchanges and cooperation between the two presidents over the past 11 years, and introduced the high-quality development of our university in recent years in personnel training, scientific research, team building, and open education。He highly praised Hanyang University for adhering to the concept of moral education and innovative education and continuously improving the level of education, and looked forward to deepening the exchanges between teachers and students and scientific research cooperation with Hanyang University, and pushing the cooperation between the two universities to a new stage。

Lee expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm reception of BEIT, stressing that Hanyang University attaches great importance to cooperation with China and started the process of cooperation with Chinese universities before the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and South Korea。He appreciated the development speed of BIT in recent years, and believed that the two universities have a high degree of similarity in subject Settings and development paths, and the two sides should strengthen resource sharing, complementary advantages, and improve the quality of education, scientific research level and international influence。
